Desperatly need hair help!?

I'm getting married in 2 weeks. My girls and I are all getting our hair done at the same place, and I'm paying. My treat for them. It's 1940s style wedding, so we want them to match. (I'm saying all this for the people I know will say they don't have to match and to let them pick themselves) We're in agreement here, but we don't know what style to choose! It has to be 40s, but they still want to look pretty so no crazy huge pompadours...something simple classic elegant and gorgeous. Thanks!
