What are some goodhairstyles for long layered hair?

I'm getting my hair cut and styled tomorrow for my cousin's wedding and I have no idea what I want! My hair falls down to 2/3 of the lenth of my back, so it's really long. I want it to stay long, but I'll remove up to six inches. Links with pictures would be awesome!!!

Wedding hairstyle help please.?

Im going to a wedding later this month - where I am just a guest. Becuase its my sisters wedding, Im wearing something a bit fancy though, im wearing a basqued dress with a black skirt and it kinda flounts out a little with a little net underneith (if you get my drift!!)

I have highlighted hair just below my shoulders and im trying to find a hairstyle which would be best. I have a skin condition at the top of my neck so its not great for me to have it all stook up! but equally having it down wouldn tbe good in case it rains.

How do you think i should have it?

I was thinking at one point that half up half down style - but do i just have a little bobble in it, or shall i have hair clips..

help.. please!!!

I want to design myself a killer gown for the wedding of a good friend of mine.. I need some advice?

I am short 5- 5,1 and I have long wavy brown hair, brown eyes and a bit tanned skin color.

The wedding is going to be a very religious one so it has to be 3/4 - long sleeves and modest but I still want to shine with a nice dress, so what colors and style will compliment me? (if there is something also that I can do to look taller except the high heels)? and what kind of cloth I should use for the gown?

The wedding is at night but light colors will do to..

I want to design myself a killer gown for the wedding of a good friend of mine.. I need some advice?

I would buy a beautiful satin or silk shantung fabric in a beautiful soft coral salmon color or my second choice would be a silvery soft green in the same fabric. The style that would compliment you would be 3/4 sleeve, a V or a boat neckline, simple in style, with darts in a princess style to accentuate your figure and then the dress would come out to an A-line right at the knee. What you could do is add a little ruffle on the edge of the sleeve and the hem of the dress to give it a little couture look. With it I would use maybe lovely rhinestone earrings and a bracelet. Do not wear mid calf length as it will make you look shorter. You must wear high heels with nude color pantihose, but not that high, say 2 1/2 to 3 inches maybe a sling back style in a silver with a matching silver evening bag. For a covering I would wear a cape or a stole. Good Luck to you

just make sure u dont look better than the bride -- probally like brown - burgundy - royal purple color --

to look taller stripes going up and down --

cloth- what month is it in/?? depends on weather

GOOD LUCK

I want to design myself a killer gown for the wedding of a good friend of mine.. I need some advice?

you seem to have eva longoria features(it sounds like, as far as color, maybe a little dark/lighter) either way you have darker features. So, black looks timeless and is always flattering, but if you want colors i'd say try a pale pink, or yellow. As far as cloth, i'd try anything flowy, no stretch.

To the side upstyle for Wedding???

I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding and the bride has told me that we are having our hair in an upstyle (hair in a ponytail on the side).. sounds horrendous to me although both she and the hair stylist (who was in a swanky salon) assured me that this is very glamorous and elegant! Does anyone have photos of this style as i'm very nervous and they weren't able to provide me with any pictures!

I just straightened my hair using a flat iron and wore it down, I don't think curls or anything like that look good on me. So for me, my best hair do is down.

I like how your avatar's hair is......

Wedding Hairstyles?

Almost all stylists will give you the same advice... if your dress is dressy, go with simplicity for your hair... if your dress is laid back, do something dressy for your hair. But whatever you decide, make sure you are happy with it - don't let anyone bully you into what they think is best if you don't feel good about it.

What hairstyle goes with my wedding dress?

I have blonde hair that is just below my shoulders. It can hold curls, but I don't want a style that will loose the curl and look "tired" at the end of the night. I do have a viel that is single tier I would like to use for the ceremony and take off for the reception.

Here's the dress:

http://www.jessicamcclintock.com/wcsstor...

any suggestions? Pictures would be helpful!

Thanks!

What hairstyle goes with my wedding dress?

I would go for a chignon updo. Your dress has a bit of a Parisian feel. It is very classic and elegant and your hair should be so as well.

Your dress is beautiful and I do love it; but anything resembling a "prom" hair style could possibly make it look a bit prom-ish. Avoid loose curled tendrils, lots of curls, etc. Keep it more on the sleek side and very sophisticated.

Somthing along the lines of :

http://weddings.theknot.com/gallery/gall...

or

http://weddings.theknot.com/gallery/gall...

but there are a lot on theknot that would be pretty.

What hairstyle goes with my wedding dress?

try going to theknot.com They have a section of hairstyle pictures that might help you out. I always think that with a strapless dress an updo it the best way to go. Oh and I like your dress alot!

What hairstyle goes with my wedding dress?

I don't have pictures, but a French Braid, with flowers interwoven would be beautiful. Best of luck to you!

What hairstyle goes with my wedding dress?

Beautiful dress !! So elegant and classy. I would go with a classic French twist with a beautifil black comb and some loose tendrils and , of course, some sparkle highlights.

What hairstyle goes with my wedding dress?

How do you usually wear your hair? Are you wearing a particular style veil?

If you usually wear it straight then a head full of curls isn't going to look good. Do you EVER wear you hair up? If not, then curls piled high on your head will look unnatural. On your wedding day, you're still suppose to look like you, only elegant.

Biolage heat setting spray. That stuff works wonders. I have really thin hair and it's almost like silk. I used it and it held from 10 am until 11pm (until i took it out.)

What hairstyle goes with my wedding dress?

Where your hair in an updo. with a strapless wedding gown you should have no hair on your neck or shoulders. Your dress is so beautiful wish you and your future husband nothing but happiness

What hairstyle goes with my wedding dress?

beautiful dress! I think an updo, but can't be more specific... I just bought this stuff from Catwalk thats a spray in Curl booster - it works good too! Good luck

What hairstyle goes with my wedding dress?

Any hairstyle would go with that dress. Wear your hair the way you feel comfortable. If you usually wear your hair up, then try doing something down. Go to www.weddingchannel.com or www.theknot.com and take a look at the hairstyle pictures. I'm sure you'll find something fabulous!!

What hairstyle goes with my wedding dress?

Oh, I LOVE your dress! Well, are you doing it yourself or having it done? This chickie's in Vegas %26amp; I was just looking through her myspace %26amp; website - she's got some nice wedding hair - check it out - http://www.hottiehair.com/new/

Good luck!

I need african american men's braided hairstyles. can you tell me where to find them online (w

my friend is in a wedding in Sept and he needed a suggestion for his hair. i told him to braid the front, then put singles in the back and put it up in a ponytail (like the guy from the group Pretty Ricky). i think that would look NICE, but he doesn't like it.

his hair is always cornrowed back in different styles, but he needs a new look that will make him look good in his tux (seeing that he is one of the Best Men in the wedding). his hair is medium length, well, to his jawbone. he's light skinned and has nice light brown eyes. he needs something that will compliment his features....actually, he looks like Trey Songz....SERIOUSLY!!

so now u know what to work with...lol.

anyway, i need a great site that has pictures of black men with braids. if u can help me that would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Help!!! Trying to find perfect dress for a small wedding ceremony!!!!?

Well I am hoping to find a sundress type at the knee or a little above.

colors-- white, light light green, ecru, beige...

style--- hoping for like 1950's style boatneck party dress, will do with what is available, cannot have low low neckline (like showing cleavage, have tattoo) flowy, I don't know

I am a big busted girl iam 38'' on top have 32'' and have 38''on bottom. Ummmmm have brown hair.

Anyways i have been looking for weeks on the net have'nt really had any luck, someone please help!!! I would be very grateful thanks!!!

Help!!! Trying to find perfect dress for a small wedding ceremony!!!!?

You could order from j-crew. They're over-priced I think, for a catalog company, but do have a boat neck one like you're talking about. I actually have a pink one just like you described as a bridesmaid dress, but know they have white also.

Are you the bride - Im confused. Just looked at j-crew, and they really only have them now in bridesmaid type colors. Otherwise try the amazon, they're great for being able to see multiple retailers. Also dept stores like Nordstrom - http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/2911381/0~23...

Help!!! Trying to find perfect dress for a small wedding ceremony!!!!?

i'm not sure exactly where you can get the dress, but DO NOT WEAR WHITE!!!!!!! it's sort of rude because it looks like you're trying to upstage the bride. the really light green sounds pretty though, and the color would compliment your hair. good luck!

Dear Miss 50's,

Believe it or not, Davids Brida (http://www.davidsbridal.com ) has the cutes 50 style dresses, and for a very reasonable price.

Go to the bridesmaid's section on the site and click on the mix and match seperates. They have a very pretty green I think would look very nice on you.

Good Luck!

AWFUL wedding stories....Did you have an awful wedding? What happened? Can you beat this?

For my "wedding" I wore a sun dress that was too big.My hair was undone and I had to pin it in an ugly style. My hubby wore a dress shirt, dress pants and old black sneakers. There were 8 people at the "ceremony"which was held in the small living room of an upstairs apartment at 11:30 at night.Went to a motel 6 for our "honeymoon". Had the "reception" 2days later in a rented hall.My mother in law only wanted close relatives so there were only 12 people there(5 from my family, but that's all that lived in that state). My father in law played a f*ckin fiddle. We danced to a slow tune played with this fiddle(my hubby has 3 left feet so we looked horrible). Then we cut the cake(which was homemade for us without our input and I HATE white cake so could barely bite into it). After this, the radio was played(I think it was a hip-hop station). Then my brother got up on stage and sang this awful song that I didn't recognize claiming it was for me.Then he followed this tune with a 6

AWFUL wedding stories....Did you have an awful wedding? What happened? Can you beat this?

My husband has agoraphobia and cannot leave the house. I went to the courthouse/cityhall to fill out the license papers and the Justice of the peace had to come by my house for my husband to sign them. When he got there he said "Since I'm already here would you like for me to marry you"....It was kind of a spontaneous type day anyways so we said sure...Our families live to far away from us to have made it, and all of our friends were at work, college, out...the only person around was my now brother-in-law. We asked if he wanted to come out on the porch with us to see our wedding (as it was) and he said "nah" cause he was too busy playing Everquest. We had no option at a honeymoon cause my husband can't leave the house, and my brother-in-law wouldn't leave even for a night so we could have some privacy. Never got any gifts or anything and even though we asked, no one from our families could spare the time to come down that weekend for an informal reception.

If he ever gets well I am planning on doing the whole renfest wedding thing where everyone gets a tankard of grog for the ceremony and parties out...but yeah...that was my lame assed wedding.

AWFUL wedding stories....Did you have an awful wedding? What happened? Can you beat this?

AWFUL wedding stories....Did you have an awful wedding? What happened? Can you beat this?

AWFUL wedding stories....Did you have an awful wedding? What happened? Can you beat this?

W.O.W. so why did you decide to go through with it? It was your wedding and seems all you did was show up for it, i'm sorry to hear about that...get back at your family in law by not having grandchildren =) I hope you get to make decisions in your marriage! I wish you the best of luck!

AWFUL wedding stories....Did you have an awful wedding? What happened? Can you beat this?

I think it's your fault that everything went wrong.

it's was your wedding.. you should've controlled and planned everything... don't you think?????? don't blame your family, they did their best to save your sad wedding.

AWFUL wedding stories....Did you have an awful wedding? What happened? Can you beat this?

my niece was a flower girl at my friends wedding but she refused to walk down the aisle, she layed down in the back pew and fell asleep but your wedding wins top prize for a bad wedding. maybe for your anniversary you can have the wedding that you want ,just don't tell any family until the day of the wedding

AWFUL wedding stories....Did you have an awful wedding? What happened? Can you beat this?

ENOUGH ALREADY. I HAVE READ ENOUGH OF WHAT YOU ALLOWED TO HAPPEN....SOME OF US HAVE NO CONTROL OVER 'HORRIBLE THINGS THAT HAPPENED'.

Remember this was a long time ago. 1970. BACK IN THE DAYS THAT IF A GIRL WAS NOT A VIRGIN OR PREGNANT GOING DOWN THE ISLE, IT WAS CAUSE FOR A LOT OF TALK AMONGST FRIENDS AND FAMILY TRYING TO HIDE IT.

Well, I was not pregnant and a virgin. Thing is NO ONE BELIEVED IT!

My cousin was a year older and was pregnant the year that she married at 17 to a man that was 27. So, all I heard was you are next. I finished hi school at 18, went to college for 2 years and decided to get married. I had known my hubby since 16 and he was 3 years older. He use to pick me and a neighbor up and take us to hi school when he got off night shift. My KNOW ITALL AUNT showed up one morning, I answerd the door in my night gown and she saw my bf (hubby) on the sofa cat napping. SHE SPREADED THE RUMOR THAT I WAS HAVING SEX IN MY MOM'S HOME AND SHOULD BE PREGNANT ANYDAY NOW.

Then, 2 years later, the church was buzzing with rumors cause my wedding was running 30 mins. late. "SHE IS HAVING TROUBLE TRYING TO HIDE THAT SHE IS PREGNANT!"

The truth was, I had my period, in all that white dress, and my Sister-in-law almost was arrested for speeding to get me a tampon.

My dress escaped the embarasment; however, imagine hearing a police escort coming into the back of the church and the wedding is already 30 mins late. My sis-n-law had told the Irish cop and he took off with the Sirens!

Well, when the rumors were replaced with the truth, PEOPLE ACTUALLY APOLOGIZED FOR SPREADING RUMORS AND TOLD ME WHAT THEY HAD BEEN THINKING.

Don't you just love family rumors!

AWFUL wedding stories....Did you have an awful wedding? What happened? Can you beat this?

That does suck, but maybe you should have waited?? I mean this is a very special day for you, or it was suppose to be? Just because you are pregnant does not mean you have to get married. Just after me and my fiance announced our engagement I found out i was pregnant, my daughter just turned two and we just started planning the wedding. I refuse to have a lame and cheap wedding and it will be nice that our daughter can participate in it. maybe you guys can save up and in a year or two have a great renewal of your vowels? it will give you guys something to look forward to!

AWFUL wedding stories....Did you have an awful wedding? What happened? Can you beat this?

1. Sounds like "Mama's Family" and is very believable.

2. Are you married to the same man?

3. Thank goodness your mom has a home.

4. You can ask for "no telephone calls"

5. Have you considered sending this to Hollywood for a sitcom? Are you really unhappy about it? Didn't the baby make you happy?

6. Do you have photographs? Do you have your own home?

Do you have additional children?

AWFUL wedding stories....Did you have an awful wedding? What happened? Can you beat this?

I'm sorry your wedding was so bad for you, I guess at 16 it is hard to stand up to other people telling you what to do, it's hard enough at 31 to try and kindly say to people "thanks for the ideas, but I'm gonna do things my way" so at age 16 it must have been very upsetting to find yourself in this situation. You can always have a vow renewal you know, and I think it would be good for you to lay those awful memories to rest and celebrate your marriage in style.

AWFUL wedding stories....Did you have an awful wedding? What happened? Can you beat this?

No, I can't beat this one. I thought that getting an invitation to a wedding in a park where guests had to bring their own chairs, their own food and booze was bad. But, this tops that! You know, you should send this to Oprah and see if she'll arrange it for you to have a better wedding.

AWFUL wedding stories....Did you have an awful wedding? What happened? Can you beat this?

I had a couple I was supposed to marry get hit and killed by a drunk driver 3 weeks before the wedding. They laid her to rest in her wedding dress.

No matter what goes wrong as long as you have one another and you are marrying the love of your life, you have to laugh and go with the flow. Not everyone gets to have their day.

BTW that was a generally reflective statement not intended to trivialize in any way the way original poster feels about their day.

AWFUL wedding stories....Did you have an awful wedding? What happened? Can you beat this?

Wow ... if you were 16 and he was 25 then he should be behind bars for rape. I think that is the epitome of awful wedding though.

AWFUL wedding stories....Did you have an awful wedding? What happened? Can you beat this?

WOW! I'm so sorry. I didn't have a terrible wedding, but I was 18 when I got married and didn't know all that I know now about weddings and vendors. So, I hired this photographer that someone recommended to me. We didn't have a contract, but he told me that for pics of the whole wedding and reception it would only be $400 and he'd give me a set of prints and give me the proofs.

Well, when he showed up to my office to give me the pics he told me that it would cost an extra $100 cause he had to use "extra" film. I gave it to him cause I wanted my pictures. Then as I was looking through everything I noticed that he had the pics developed at the local Winn Dixie Grocery store and so my family was pissed that he took extra money from me and we were thinking of taking him to court. My mom and mother in law were looking through the proofs and found pics of the photographer with STRIPPERS on the same reels of film that my wedding pics were on!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried to find that guy and never could.

That's my only complaint about my wedding.

Can you help me match stuff w/ this outfit for a wedding?????

i have a green knee length dress, its a halter, kind of olive green. kind of like this, but olive green : http://www3.jcpenney.com/jcp/Products.as...

um, what kind of hair style should i do, and what color makeup n shoes? i have shoulder length brown hair with a red top layer, outside layers, brown eyes, short, square/round face, if any of that helps? thanks so much!

Can you help me match stuff w/ this outfit for a wedding?????

Ok... I'll start with your hair. wear it strait. I know that sounds boring but simple is best. however, when you style it, make sure you pull it out from around your face. you can do this by straitening the hair around your face away from your face. So instead of pulling the straitner down, pull it up or sidways away from your face. So it's strait but its big and open around your face instead of resting on your face like a strait board and covering up your face and features.

Next, shoes. It's spring now so you want an open toe. Something brown or bronze, but not too "strappy" of a shoe. and make sure your toes look pretty. no red polish.

Jewelry- If the dress is a halter then do NOT wear a necklace. only earrings and a simple bracelet. These should be bronze or gold but if you do gold make sure you go VERY simple. Too much gold is not a good thing for anyone. Especially if your wearing olive green. you dont want to look like an irish princess.

and finally makeup. normally i dont like to match eye shadow with the color of the dress but in this case you can. Use simple shadow. a light green all over then a dark green ONLY on the crease and very simple. Eye liner doesnt matter too much. brown or black is fine. but make sure you use black mascara. and one more thing... make sure you use a blush that has a slight red tone in it. and put it mostly on your cheek bones and not all the way to your ears. Its easiest to put blush on when you are smiling.

sorry such a long answer... hope this helps!

For shoes, get black Karibel Mini Wedges (1st link) from Payless.

For makeup, do an olive green color (like your dress) for the eyes, a light gloss, and a light blush.

For hair, do an up do like Nicole Richie (2nd link), a down do like Kelly Clarkson (3rd link), an up do like Hayden Pannetiere (4th link), or an up do like Brenda Song (5th link).

The sixth link is a how to of hairstyles.

Hope I helped, Good Luck!

You can also try looking for neat hair accesesories( how ever u spell that )Maybe you can go to a local drugstore and buy some really nice eye shadow and some really good mascara ( for keeping mascara long dont push down to get more if you do that you are putting air in the tube.try pushing it down on the sides.u can also do that with lip-gloss) as i was saying .Look for something shiny. if you have a Sallys go there they have really awesome hair things. Good Luck :)

Dress help?

I wouldn't accessorize because of the bow. Any other accessories might be too distracting. You should curls your hair and wear black shoes.

Dress help?

Sexy dress, try some stilleto heels, and silver jewelery with black beading, maybe a nice hairpiece to enhance your already long hair, it's a great dress so you don't have to try too hard, for makeup try eyeshadows like greys and whites, and a lengthening mascara.

Dress help?

wear some cute black and white pumps... a high heel will add to the look... How about a choker with some sort of black charm... Or a black leather rope with a silver charm... Black or Silver chunky earring will work ! Let your hair go!! Show off that sexy face with a fashionable hairstyle... Let it down... Wavy is nice and natural... It shows you natural beauty. You can pin up some out of your face and still give the same affect. the dress is Amazing! I absolutely LUV it! You are amazing ... It is adorable!

Me 15 and my sister 17 have a wedding to go to we need hairstyles?

ok i (15) like funky kinds of hairstyles and my sister (17) like elegant styles we both have hair down past our shoulders and i have blonde she has brown hair and any hairstyles are fine half up dos or all the way up updos are fine we would like some pics and/or websites

Me 15 and my sister 17 have a wedding to go to we need hairstyles?

Girls it all depends on the dress. If the dress is stapless I would let it down. Can have it straight or soft curls. Or also can do a half up and half down style which will work out as well. Good Luckl!!!!!

Me 15 and my sister 17 have a wedding to go to we need hairstyles?

Go to a hairdressers and see what they recommend!

Me 15 and my sister 17 have a wedding to go to we need hairstyles?

do each others hair

Me 15 and my sister 17 have a wedding to go to we need hairstyles?

maybe beachy waves for one of you and tight ringlets for the other

Me 15 and my sister 17 have a wedding to go to we need hairstyles?

YOUR SISTER SHOULD COLOUR HER HAIE TO GOLDEN.

Me 15 and my sister 17 have a wedding to go to we need hairstyles?

for an elegant style for your sister, i would suggest a French braid or French twist.

for a funky hairstyle for you, perhaps you could part your hair in a zig-zag and put it up into 2 buns or braided buns (kind of like Princess Leia from Star Wars, but not really). That would be cute. Or you could do the top part of your hair in cornrows or small ponytails and leave the rest down. that's pretty popular now.

Me 15 and my sister 17 have a wedding to go to we need hairstyles?

i think you should keep the top part of your hair straight and wave the ends. Your sister should banna curl her hair and put it in a bun.

stay away from fried food, take aways, biscuits, sweets, anything with mayonaise/dressings, no spread or full ream milk limit red meat eat regularly but eat apples etc that have high water content and not much food value, drink lots of water as your tummy feels full even though its just water. Do more exercise, go for walks or a swim, offer to take someone kids or dogs for a walk, if using public transport walk to a stop beyond one you usually catch it at and get off a stop earlier. Instead of using time saving devices like dish washers or clothes dryers.. do it by hand as it will be a little bit extra exercise and less time on yur hands to feel tempted to nibble on something.

thank u very much for a valuaable suggestion. i will keep in mind all the things which u have suggested thank u Report It

just exercise everyday...start out slow but consistent and you should be able to reach any goal. there are very effective workouts and tips listed on fitness.com or shape.com

First of all, never call yourself fat. Fluffy sounds so much better!

Eat properly and in moderation. Cut down on junk food such as sweets, crisps/chips, and junk foods such as McDonald's and KFC. Try not to eat between meals unless it is a fruit, and not so late at night.

I don't know too much about formal weddings as I got married at the registry office, and I wore my favorite skirt and top! We went to a pub afterward.

I put simple make up on my face. I don't like heavy make ups so I looked natural with a light pink blush and lipstick.

One rule for all others who attend the wedding, never try to outdo the bride when it comes to make up or dressing! Because it is her day, not yours! She deserves all the attention!

I am wishing you the best of luck as you begin a new life with your husband!

I am going to be married in two months. can any body help that during these days what kind og diet should i ta

why not see a trainer. that's what everyone else i know does before they get married...

also, in terms of make up and hair, i think you should see a local stylist or rather a friend. try out different looks and see which one you'd be the most comfortable with and also which one photographs best.

Bad highlights...?

Hi, I had red hightlights put into my dark hair, which I dyed a even darker shade of brown 3 weeks ago in preparation for a holiday I'm going on in 4 weeks time, which is to a hot country.

Whilst at the hairdressers, the hairdresser said my hair was really dry, which made me think, I'm going to leave my hair some time to recover after this session. Problem is, the hightlighted hair isn't that nice.

It was nice for the first week, but now the "red" hightlight is orange and it's starting to look trashy!

I want to put an all over dark brown colour (at the hairdressers, I wouldn't attempt it myself) in the next few weeks before I go on holiday but, if I do:

- will it come out different colours, where my highlight have gone in

- Will a pro do this so soon after the last session

- will it get damaged further in the hot climate

- will it be able to cope as I'm in a wedding 1 day b4 I go on holiday where I will have to have my hair styled with curling irons?

Help!

Bad highlights...?

Your stylist will probably not put more permanent color on your hair without some serious deep conditioning being done to it first.

But your stylist can put on a toner that will make your hair color richer and tone down your highlights.

One of the secrets to getting better highlights that look more natural is to have the hair lightened first, then put the hair coloring on your entire head. The highlights will absorb the color just like the hair around it, but will appear lighter because its base is lighter. As it grows out, you only need to touch up the roots, then draw the color down for the last 5-8 mins to revive the head without coloring over the highlights.

Also, make sure you use a good thermal conditioner for you hair while you're on holiday. Redken makes one specifically for sun protection that you might check out. Whatever you pick up, make sure it has UV protection and is a leave-in conditioner.

Bad highlights...?

definitely go to a stylist for a consultation,....red is really hard to get out but fades the fastest (i put red in mine like 7 months ago, and you can still tell) i am sure you can at least put color all over your hair, but just talk about it first i would say.

Bad highlights...?

Red is a high maintenance color and fades quickly, hence the weird orange shade.

Unless you have a lot of money and a lot of time, I would recommend you stay away from this color no matter how gorgeous it may be.

Going dark is always better than going light and I wouldn't worry about it coming out different colors where the highlights have been as this will only add depth to the dark color you add. Without depth your hair looks too fake.

Go ahead, do it. Just condition your hair really well after.

Bad highlights...?

Just dye your hair 1 colour. It will look fine. Promise.

Bad highlights...?

Definately go to the hairdressers, as someone else said they should be able to use a toner to stop your highlights looking brassy. Use some deep conditioners before and after you have it done. Also, make sure you protect your hair when you are on holiday; if you hair is long wear it up in a lose bun so that less of the surface is exposed, you can also get spray on sun protection for your hair - Loreal make a good one that isn't greasy and makes your hair look super shiny and nice:)

Bad highlights...?

I have dark hair and have had highlights done that look too orange. You can either dye over them yourself as long as you condition it well after the colour or get it done at the salon. It will definately cover those highlights. Just condition well after you go in the sun and wear a cap/hat on the beach, it will save your skin too - Good luck

HELP HELP! need you guys!!!!!!?

My mom is getting married for the 2nd time and she HATES traditional weddings! so she is having a white trash/ 50's/ rockabilly theme wedding and I am a junior brides made! know she is letting everyone pick there own hair style so how should I do mine? I am wearing a white halter dress with little black polka dots!( every brides made is wearing that!) I dont know what I should do with my hair? so please help!

HELP HELP! need you guys!!!!!!?

haha a 50's wedding huh? funny =) anyways maybe a really high curled pony tail than rapped around like a bun with curly hair flinging out. hard to explain but im saying a bun with curly hair that isnt in the bun. it will on really work if u have long hair tho....

HELP HELP! need you guys!!!!!!?

Wow thats kinda ....... Um Wierd but what ever floats your boat do it in like a cute updo

HELP HELP! need you guys!!!!!!?

updo spiral curls.

HELP HELP! need you guys!!!!!!?

You should probably wear it up if it's a 50's wedding, u could also research 50's hair styles, another thing u could do is see what the other brides maids are doing with their hair and do something like that.

HELP HELP! need you guys!!!!!!?

put it in a classic 1950s braid bun. It will look nice for the pictures and a little "i love lucy" to add to the theme! It's pretty easy to do yourself or go to a stylist. Either way it will be awesome!

HELP HELP! need you guys!!!!!!?

The Fifties look was usually achieved by an arduous process of pin curling and rolling. Remember - no blow dryers in the 50s. As demonstrated by super model Suzy Parker, one pinned the hair and sometimes sprayed it to keep the set.

HELP HELP! need you guys!!!!!!?

you should curl it and wear it down

HELP HELP! need you guys!!!!!!?

nice! sounds like it will be an interesting wedding!

I think a really good hairstyle would be right after you wash your hair to scrunch it and then put it up in a cute messy bun put some cute clips in that would go with your dress. and leave a couple of strands of hair hanging down in the front.

if your hair is anything like your avatar you'd look gorgeous.

unless you want to go for a 50's style you could go simple and put your hair in a pony tail and curl the ponytail or leave it down and curl it.

have fun !!

HELP HELP! need you guys!!!!!!?

put it in a pony tail and curl the tail. and a big bow. I think you all sould wear a pony tail and if she doesn't like it then she should have chose a different theme.閳绢櫚

Wedding dress?

whats the best style of dress if your size 12/14, with long curly natural red hair.am not a dress type of girl and i am not very tall..please help.( uk cheshire) this is my boyfriends page

Wedding dress?

Corset style, no straps or you could have spaghetti straps (but i'd say no straps), it'll tighten your waist so its looks smaller, and accentuate your boobs, then from just below the waist the dress should begin to flare out. Simple and elegant, as too much poofiness and flowers and netting etc will make you look really big. An off white colour is always gorgeous, much more flattering and classy than white, plus off white will look like a dream against your hair colour.

Wedding dress?

The best thing to do is to go to a bridal shop and try on wedding gowns until you find one that is flattering. The sales people can assist you.

Wedding dress?

You really should go to a bridal specaility shop and just have a field day trying on dresses until you decide on which you like. Noone knows you like you know yourself.

Wedding dress?

personally an A-line cut looks nice on curvy figures. The best thing to do is take a friend or someone and go and try on as many as you can....you know when you find the right dress. Im not a dress kind of person either.

Wedding dress?

Oh I love weddings!! My advice to you would be to get a strapless dress as they are very flattering on any size lady. I went for a heavily beaded corset top, first to hold me in nicely and secondly to take everyones attention away from my flabby arm bits...And if you have beautiful red curly hair I would suggest you get it put up in curls tussling down, rather than perfectly in place..nice droppy curls...showing your neck line is always stunning and with you hair up it makes you look taller..believe me I know..Im about 5 foot nothing..Good Luck!!

Wedding dress?

wrap dresses r the best for short curvey ladys go for a rich dark colour like dark purple don't have to much detail on the tummy area cause u want to draw attention away from ur tummy.

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

http://www.davidsbridal.com/flowergirl_d...

her dad likes it and if he likes than it must be okay because he has no taste at all. (lol)

also i am putting the jr flowergirls, the flower girls, and the jr bridesmaids hair in clear and turquioise beads. they girls are young 2 are going to be 2 yrs old, 2 are going to be 4 yrs old, 1 is going to be 6, and the other is going to be 7. so they are the right age for beads. please i just want to her your thoughts if you don't like it please have a suggestion of a hair style that they all can wear, or don't say anything at all. my wedding color are turquise and silver.

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

The dress is gorgeous. I would just be cautious...make sure your dress is somewhat similar. If you have a simple gown then that dress may be too much, if your dress has lace and beading then the flower girl dress would be perfect.

Now to the beads.....I would reconsider.. I am not sure of the girl's hair texture but if you are putting beads, I would assume that the girls are African American (just an assumption I could be wrong) if I am right, then I would do nice spiral curls (you can press their hair if it is natural) or do some nice ponytail with curls. I don't think the beads will be too flattering.

http://www.viewmyevents.com/gallery/view...

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

I think the dress is beautiful. It will be perfect for your wedding although it may not be very comfortable for a two year old.

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

awwwwwwwwwwwww ^_^

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

I think that the dress is very sweet. Does it go along with the style of your dress or those of the wedding party? I like when all the dresses have a common theme. Like the lace for instance.

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

she will look like a mini strumpet

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

My gosh that is a beautiful gown and I think the girls will look absolutely stunning and your wedding with be absolutely amazing! Good luck and God Bless your marriage.

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

To be honest with you, I think that dress is a bit much for a two-year-old. It looks kind of adult to me. I know I'm old fashion. I like the cute puffy dresses for flower girls so they still look like little girls. Plus, I don't know if cost is an issue, but do you want to spend that much on a dress she will wear once? My flower girls mom got her dress at Burlington and it's something she can wear again. Just a thought.

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

i think it's beautiful. she looks like a mini-bride. is that the look you're going for?

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

the dress is beautiful, and the beads would look nice. if you decide not to do the beads, then maybe some flowers in their hair would look nice too. your wedding is going to be beautiful!!!! congratulations and good luck with all the details!!!

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

Honestly (and just my opinion) I think it's a beautiful dress, just not appropriate for a two year old. I personally don't think it's fair to expect such a small child to be able to walk around and remain comfortable in that. It's hard enough to get such a small child to behave during a ceremony without the added pressure of a train and heavy dress. I tried one of those on my daughter when she was 2 1/2 and a flower girl and she didn't want to keep it on. We picked out a shorter one for her. Besides, they're little girls and I wanted mine to look like the sweet, innocent child she is. Not gussied up!

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

First of all let me say congrat

You know I don't think you need our help cause you have everything pretty plan out perfectly.

And when it comes out to the flower girl dress it looks so beautiful she is going to look like a piece of heaven of course when you come out you will be glowing too.

When it comes with the beads you know what everything sounds wonderful. I really don't think that the girls will yank off the beads.

So i wish you good luck in everything and if her dad like the dress girl then it is a keeper cause like you say a lot of guys don't have good taste a all

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

I know this is going to sound rude but it looks like something a mexian would put on their child

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

I was all set to say "do what you want; it's your day". Then when I saw the dress I said "yes, yes, yes". You have very good taste and because this day is so special and it's what you desire, go for it. God bless all.

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

No. Not for a two year old, that dress is WAY too mature for a two year old.

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

it's cute, but with the little train it looks a little too adult. I think it's really cute when the little girls feet show with cute ruffle socks and white patent leather shoes or something like that. it reminds you that she's 2, not 20

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

it's really a nice dress...

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

I just love the dress !! The back of the dress flows beautifully !! The hair is perfect with the beads or lace pulling the hair up. I couldn't see what the hair band in the back was made of !! You had better give your hubby a little more credit in this he has taste !!! Congratulations !! I hope everything comes off without a hitch !!!

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

it's a very pretty dress. but im sure she wont be very confortable in it. but if you do decide to buy it be sure to bring something for her to change into later on. she might start to play a little rough and ruin it.

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

I think the dress is a bit extreme, but if you're going for extreme, then it's great!! I think she should wear her hair down with SOME curls.. not too much.

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

It is cute, but are you sure a 2-year old is going to be able to stand it? It looks like it would be heavy, and it will definitely be hard to walk in. I personally don't like the mini-bride thing. Nothing wrong with it, people do it, but I personally don't like it.

I think the beads idea is good. For kids that young, you want to do something simple like beads.

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

I love that dress and chose it for my flower girl too. Congrats.

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

the dress is every nice but maybe too mature for a 2 year old..she might get it dirty reely fast since it is white

What do you think of this flowergirl dress for my two year old daughter?

Beautiful, not suitable at all, however, for a two year old!

Does supercuts do hairstyling?

Does supercuts do hairstyling?

super cuts does have that service but you are not going to get what you are looking for they only cut hair and thats it go to a real salon for an updo

Does supercuts do hairstyling?

Hairstyle?

if your hair is curly straighten it. if it's straight, curl it. it would be a pretty change.

btw, i'm 5'0, semi-long hair, dark brown.

Dress help?

Go to claires get some really nice bracelets, necklaces , rings. etc....

Dress help?

try red accessories, i think it would look good with lotsa red. Try claires for like bracelets, necklaces, and what-not. Maybe try forever21 for shoes...lotsa cute ones! have fun! :)

What are good hairstyle ideas for bridesmaids?

It's a formal renaissance wedding and I'd like for them to wear their hair down. I can't afford to pay for them to get their hair styled and any type of wreaths etc are out of the question. Various lengths of hair.

What are good hairstyle ideas for bridesmaids?

Women didn't wear their hair down and uncovered, it was a sign of a loose woman.

When they did wear it down, they covered their heads with a hat with a long veil as long or longer than their hair.

For a cheap imitation, try getting some fabric headbands in a similar color to their dresses and stitching some transparent material to it in the same color. As long as the cuts were clean, you could get away with having to hem the sides and bottom of the "veil". Or you could go buy the real thing from a bridal store.

The veil length should be either elbow or finger tip, no longer since it's for the bridesmaids.

Otherwise, try braids and have the women pin the braids up on their heads so their hair isn't left down.

What are good hairstyle ideas for bridesmaids?

Have everyone wear their hair down or partially down, all the same though. Crown with baby's breath, small amount, and they will look beautiful.

What are good hairstyle ideas for bridesmaids?

For a renaissance style take two pieces of hair from the front and tie them loosely together in the back with pretty ribbon. If you've ever seen the lord of the rings movies the elven girls wear their hair like that.

What are good hairstyle ideas for bridesmaids?

Try a nice updo

(scroll down to Hats) has several options- the French Hood flatters most any face, and is easy to make.

For a less historically-accurate approach, make two small braids, starting just above the temples, and pull back into a clip at the back of the head. ("Elf" style)

With my vaguely Tudor wedding gown- I have shoulder-blade length hair, I had mine half pulled back into a bun, where I could anchor my veil, then the rest hanging in spiral curls.

Advice Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

I'm 14 years old and from Bangladesh living in Atlanta, GA and I am going to a wedding next month in Texas.

Here are my outfit colors

Engagement- Yellow and Green Sari

Wedding- Green with a little silver kameez

Afterparty- Black and White Kameez

And for two other parties after I'm wearing a red kameez and an orange kameez.

What color nail polish can i use that will go with all of these outfits cause i don't want 2 keep removing nail polish everytime another event comes up.

Also what hair styles do you think would go good with each of these outfits?

FYI My hair is very straight but i can curl it to.

Advice Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Gold Nail Polish would blend in with the Yellow, and Green, even the Black with the Gold would polish off the outfit, and include a gold Hand bag that is small, for small keys, lipstick, and small amount of money. That the best route that I have found. For the Hair style having it up in the back, with Caskading curles combed into the back would look Beautiful.

Advice Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Silver nail polish looks good with everything, as does a french manicure. As far as the hair, it's hard for me to determine without seeing it.

Advice Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

I'd either go with a french manicure, so your nails are natural-looking, or I'd go with a red. As far as hair styles, if you don't mind keeping the same hairstyle all day, wear it up. You'll look well groomed and you won't overheat with all your hair on your neck all day and all night. Good luck, enjoy the wedding!

Advice Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

sounds like ur the one is getting married heheh kidding., just be urself girl trasparent nailpolish will sute to all colors... just bring it up and be confident.

Advice Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Sounds like your going to a circus.

Advice Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

i wish i can help but dont know what is a kameez

Advice Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

A subtle pink or white polish would b nice

And for ur hair u r going 2 want it t b up if it is in Texas -- but add a flair 2 it

maybe braids, messy buns, classic ponytails

Advice Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

You should wear silver nail polish. And put little dots of all the colors you are going to wear. To add a little class to what you are wearing with a modern twist you should put in a pony with a little braid hanging off the side.

Advice Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

enfafement - red and white sari

swdding - dark red marun and taser

afterparty - firoze and white kameez with jardosi work

Advice Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

I think a bun at the top of your head would look good as a hairstyle, and for nails, I would do a french manicure with stones on your nails, and designs too.

(pick me for best answer! :) )

For hair accessories and maybe some hairstyle ideas, take a look at http://butterflyenchantressdesigns.com . I bought my hair accessories there. I emailed the designer with loads of questions and she helped me through the whole thing. I didn't want the standard tiara look and ended up weaving flowers and sparkly crystals in my hair.

I need a formal hairstyle i can do myself plz?

i am going to a wedding saturday and i wanted to know what are some formal nice looking hair styles that i can do myself. if they take time could you tell me appr. how long itd take me so i can plan it out? i have medium length(shoulderlength) dark brawn hair and bangs(if that helps)!! thanks for all the help

I need a formal hairstyle i can do myself plz?

Having a medium hair length is good because it lets you have the best control over your hair. Having short hair can limit your hairstyle and having long hair can take up a lot of effort. Anyway, if you are that desperate go for the basic bun and glam it up by buying the most sophisticated looking (yet cheap) scrunchy you can find and also make sure that it compliments your dress. Too keep it in place, put some gel and some hair pins that camouflages with your hair color. It's also nice that you have bangs that way you can just let it dangle on the side to frame your face. And if you like, you can curl your bangs and just let it fall softly on your face and you're good to go! :)

I don't really recommend hairstyles that let your hair fall such as ponytails or half-ponytails unless you went to a salon that did it for you. Because most likely, it won't give you enough control and you might feel like you want to go to the bathroom to check if your hair is still in place.

The basic bun is the best idea i can give you because it is so effortless and yet it gives you the classic sophistication for the occasion.

I need a formal hairstyle i can do myself plz?

take a little bit of hair from the top of your head and tie it up with a rubber-band. It's sort of like a half pony tail!

I need a formal hairstyle i can do myself plz?

braids

I need a formal hairstyle i can do myself plz?

ef u have long hair, i can give you 1001 style, and u will choes one of them

I need a formal hairstyle i can do myself plz?

while your hair is wet brush it all straight back into a smooth, tight, ponytail with a bristle brush, (or brush your bangs over to the side in front) braid your ponytail flat then rap the braid into a bun and bobypin it... its easy and elegant and beautiful.. and it only takes a few minutes!

I need a formal hairstyle i can do myself plz?

Ok this might take about half an hour (and its best to practive a few times b4)

First straighten your hair then put your hair in a ponytail (not a high one but not a low one). Then with your comb pull out for the bottom a layer of hair.

then divide the layer of hair into about 5 bits and starting at one side get a bit and start to twist t up and secure it with a bobbypin near the ponytail, repeat this with the other bits of the hair until the layer that you pulled out is all twisted and pinned near the ponytail (hiding the hairtie). by pinning the twists near the ponytail this should have pushed the hair in the ponytail up and beacuse it is straight it should have kind of a spiky fan shape to it. you can tease it a little bit or leave it hang as it is.

I know this my sound strange and you might not have understood my instructions (so sorry) but I have a photo of my hair (a view from the back) which would make it easier to understand, you can reach me on yahoo messenger bec_au2001

I need a formal hairstyle i can do myself plz?

hot roll hair.(use setting spray). as rollers are cooling apply makeup or whatever. when rollers are completely cool, remove one roller and backcomb lightly and move to next roller. when this is complete it will probably be all over the place like you stuck your finger in a light socket. take a tuft and smooth it with your fingers in the direction you want that piece to go. put a bobby pin in the middle of it (just below first bend of curl) and flip/twist your wrist and pin.(flip/twist like the guy on the taco bell commercial) start where you want the design to be. side of head, top of head, etc. use gloss drops or something to smooth the hairshaft to make it look more polished. apply only a little or it will fall. pin in an x pattern and the curl will stay.

it takes longer for the rollers to cool than anything else. pinning time probably 10 minutes.

I need a formal hairstyle i can do myself plz?

devide your hair in half like a half ponitail but split the top into two even sides like piggy tails with half your hair do it in the back and then do messy buns with both of them wrap a few elasics close to the head around both of them after doing the messy buns (make sure to take a pain releaver after this because you will have a major head ach) then with the rest of your hair you can either leave down curled out, do a third messy bun and wrap into the top two, or you can do twisty corn rows up the back of your head and boby pin the remaining hair into the messy part with the rest of your hair. sorry if this dosent make sience but i promise that it looks cute but make sure you take your pictures sideways with this hair do becuase you look bald if you go straight on the camera (dont ask) I sure hope this works good luck and have fun!

HAWTness!!!!?

Can you give me tips to style hair like this??????????? It is for a wedding(Bridesmaids)

How can I get my hair to look like this?????My hair is naturally curly

here are the links:

1)http://pwbeat.publishersweekly.com/blog/...

2)http://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/06bg...

HAWTness!!!!?

try a hair dresser?

HAWTness!!!!?

You need to go to a salon, print the pic out if you can. They will need to wash and blow out your hair and either blow the big looser curls in with a roundbrush, or do it with a curling iron and pin all the curls to really set them. Then do a half up half down style with a pompodour.

HAWTness!!!!?

you will want to blow dry your hair straight (use a protector, like a shine enhancer activated by heat, or straightening serum that you would use with a flat iron). that will make your hair smooth and shiny (be sure to blow from root to tip, that will make your hair smoother. blowing up into the hair opens the cuticles and makes your hair less smooth).

for the first pic: take a portion of your hair and bring it up just like hers. she has a pretty big section of hair up there, but the places she took it from are key. try to emulate her as much as you can. then you want to take a wide barreled curling iron and curl sections of your hair. play with it, it should end up like that. then straighten the few pieces in front. (i wouldn't recommend this for a bridesmaid because it would outshine the bride, this should be the brides hair!)

for the second pic: i have no clue, but here is my best guess. put your hair in curlers with the front twisting back. i don't know how the back looks but i can say that the curlers will help get the look. i would suggest a large, loose bun at the neck to make it appear like that. use clear bands and tease the hair so that it hides the area where you tied it together.

hope this helps
